Nokia is not shy when it comes to rolling out software updates for its handsets. Most of its smartphones are Android One devices that are running on Android 9 Pie and now, the phone maker has some good news for Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 users. In a blog post, the company has announced that it is extending software support for the aforementioned handsets, which have completed the regular two-year software update cycle. However, the extended support comes in the form of an additional year of security patches for the devices. This means that the Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 smartphones will receive quarterly security updates till the end of their third year since launch.

Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event where the company is expected to announce its Galaxy Note 10 series of devices, Samsung has introduced its new Exynos 9825 SoC. It is the company's first chip to be built on a 7nm architecture and is touted to be faster and more power-efficient than its predecessor. Developed using extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV), the new processor is expected to debut in the Galaxy Note 10 series of handsets. With Artificial Intelligence being the new buzzword, Samsung has also included a new Neural Processing Unit (NPU) on the Exynos 9825 SoC, which is said to take care of AI-processing and related tasks.

A new update for PUBG Mobile will be pushed out to devices soon, updating the game to v0.14.0 . The update just hit the beta version of the game, which we tried out to see what the new features have in store for players. The biggest of which is the new 'Infected Mode' where you can play as a zombie in a 15 minute showdown. That apart, there are cosmetic changes in the main interface with things like choosing the map and accessing settings getting a facelift.
